frequent questions
Q: How old does my dog have to be to attend day care?
A. All dogs must be at least 4 months of age or older
Q. Is daycare safe for my dog?
A. At downtown hound, health and safety are our top priority. Our playgroups are supervised 100% of the time to ensure the safety of each and every downtown hound. Our staff members have completed pet CPR and first aid, and attend extensive training in animal behavior annually.
Q. Does your outside area have grass?
A. Yes! Our facility has K9 Grass. Our indoor play place is equipped with tenderfoot matting, which is non-porous rubber flooring especially for dog daycare facilities.
Q. My dog is older. I'd like him to get some playtime but all day may be too much. What can you do?
A. We try to be as flexible as possible and meet the needs of all types of dogs and any special requests.
